This weekend, I purchased a “mesh wifi system” – a product that’s supposed to help solve a Wi-Fi problem I’ve been having in my house.
After about an hour, I finally knew EXACTLY what I wanted and headed to the local Best Buy to grab it.
Now… why did I tell you this little story and what the heck does it have to do with you?
According to PowerReviews, 70% of people look at REVIEWS of a product or service before making their decision.
The last time you went to buy something – did you read the reviews?
Chances are you DID.
And as you can see in my story above, I certainly do as well.
Now… I want you to think back 15 years ago.
The only “reviews” you really got were from your friends and acquaintances, who shared their thoughts on a certain product or service.
They told you in person, over the phone, or via mail (the pen and paper kind, not the email kind) how their experience was and if they recommended it.
And even 15 years ago, your decision was influenced by what someone else told you.
Fast forward, 15 years later, and now, complete strangers from all over the WORLD can share their experiences and help you make educated decisions based on it.
In fact, according to Search Engine Journal, 63% of consumers indicated they are more likely to PURCHASE something that has a product rating and reviews.
Social proof (reviews or testimonials) is a powerful way to leverage consumer trust and make more sales.
The question is, are you using it in your online business?
Regardless if you’re just building your email list with a free lead magnet, you have your own product or service, or run an eCommerce store – people want to see what others think before buying.
So in this article today, I want to break down what you should do to make sure you capture each and every customer and maximize your sales and conversions.
Here are the 6 steps you should be taking:
First, it starts with your visitor either filling out a form to sign up for your service or pulling out their card to buy your product.
Second, when that happens, you reach out to each customer, via email, social media or telephone.
Third, when you reach them, you ask them for feedback, take it from them and transcribe it so it makes sense.
Fourth, you get a picture, video, or audio clip from them so you can upload it to your web site.
Fifth, you pass that to your web designer or make it pretty yourself before displaying on your site.
Last but not least, you have to repeat this process over and over for every new customer.
Pretty easy, right?
Ok – maybe not.
But this is the process people are using in 2017 to collect testimonials and reviews to display for social proof on their website.
I know because I’m one of them.
Sorting through every review, making sure they appear and line up correctly, then filtering them by importance, and handing them over to my web developer to display on our website…
Bottom line: it’s a pain in the butt!
Now – why did I tell you all of this?
Because I want to automate it for you ☺
1. You sell your product or service and a system automatically deploys a series of emails on your behalf asking for a review.
The system collects everything – the testimonial, the images, the video, or the audio clip.
2. Then you simply approve or decline each review, and sort them by the ones you think people should read first.
Searchengineland.com surveyed people and found 85% of consumers read the FIRST 10 reviews before making their purchase. So it’s important that you decide which reviews are displayed first.
3. And last but not least, you grab 1 line of code – a quick copy and paste – and display it on your website or eCommerce store…
And that’s it.
How much easier would that be in your life?
That’s why today, I’m excited to announce the release of Review Trust. A powerful cloud based platform that allows anyone to collect and display real reviews and testimonials by simply pasting one line of code on their website. Just like this:
And our system automates the entire process for you.
From the initial purchase, we collect buyers (using one of our 14 + integrations) from your shopping cart or eCommerce platform and follow-up with each customer for you to collect their review.
We even offer an option to help entice your customers to leave a honest review with the ethical bribe of your choice.
Review Trust collects their written words and combines it with an image or two, or a video, or even an audio clip.
The only thing you have to do is approve or deny the reviews and tell our system how you want it to organize and display them on your website.
That means you can sort how the reviews are displayed so that the best ones are seen FIRST to help grow your consumer confidence.
Developed from the ground up, Review Trust was designed to do one thing – to help you get more sales and conversions.
Oh and we display your reviews in 10 unique options:
Automation is the key to any business in 2017. We want to help you not only collect customer feedback but also display the reviews in a professional manner so potential clients can easily read them.
So check out Review Trust NOW and leverage the power of social proof in your business!
We’re doing something VERY unique with our pricing (hint: no upgrades or upsells AND no restrictions) and are super excited about it.
Now, it’s YOUR turn to leave a comment…
